zadatak osmisliti prvi hrvatski Kemijski zavod.
Abstract (english) | This work presents a brief look at the development of chemistry in Croatia after founded the
first Croatian Institute of Chemistry , University of Zagreb , and the contribution of the most
prominent Croatian chemists . Chemistry as an independent subject began to teach only
1875th year - on Philosophy Faculty in Zagreb . First associate Professor was Aleksandar
Veljkov , who with their knowledge about teaching and chemical laboratories in Europe given
the task to design the first Croatian Chemical Institute . The Institute was founded in 1876th
in rented space at New Vesa 1 , in Zagreb . Alexander Veljkov subsequently held chemistry
and experimental research in the new lab . Besides being the first professor of chemistry in
Croatia , Alexander Veljkov be noted publishing many offer a scientific work , which led to
great advances in the chemistry of the 19th century . Unfortunately , Veljkov has done his
duty for only a year , because he suddenly died . In his place was soon came Dr. Gustav
Janeček , a pharmacist and chemist , who has been teaching chemistry as well as experimental
studies taught even decades . With regard to chemical Institute, located in a rented building ,
Janeček has requested renewal of the Chemical Institute in 1882. year , and at the request of a
new building in the Strossmayer Street 14 , in Zagreb , which was completed , 1884. year .
Janeček besides chemistry and pharmacy, was study medicine, and he he attended and
expressed as the court chemist, in many cases of poisoning. All his life he investigated and
published many scientific papers and textbooks in physical, organic, analytical,
pharmaceutical and forensic chemistry. |
